![]() Everyone has a right to play what they want and enjoy what they want, within reason.Īnd to those of you who couldn't make it this far down my post without commenting something along the lines of "Never going to happen", "You're a *hurtful adjective* and a *some other degrading adjective*", or "Go to hell, Fromsoft is *something absolutely horrible I'm sure* and so are you", well you're the worst and thanks for proving my point, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s. I am by no means trying to shove this down your throats, this is just an attempt to spread awareness and find some more support. FromSoft has also stated that they are considering a port for Bloodborne already and this could be the push they need! This is the best way for PC gamers to show Fromsoft that we are interested in Bloodborne and want to continue playing their games! Thank you to all of you who support this post and petition, and to those of you who respectfully decline from signing or supporting. ![]() Signing this petition does not by any means guarantee a port of Bloodborne for the PC, but FromSoft has always placed a lot of stock with it's clientele and consumers, again as with the Dark Souls port I mentioned above. I have signed this petition after reading it completely and urge anyone else with any interest in this game, but lack of want to buy a PS4 or the lack of funds for a new console, to sign it as well. Now for the disclaimers I am not part of the group/the person who started this petition, just a supporter. Bloodborne is slated to be released exclusivley for the PS4, but FromSoft has already made it clear that the PC world is making a large enough wave that they may port the game! They did so for Dark Souls and may do so for this game as well! Here is a link to the petition: Bloodborne is a game developed by FromSoft, the creators of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. ![]() they'll be ready to extent PS+ Extra to include a PC version.Release Bloodborne for the Personalized Computing platform! This is a promotion for a petition of the potential port of the game Bloodborne to the PC. when the PS5 install is big enough to maximize returns there and 2. So when they get through the stack of well rated, higher selling, Sony first party studio titles they'll likely then get around to Bloodborne, which would probably align with 1. They'd probably next prefer to port something like Returnal, as it would already be a PC visual showpiece and with Sony buying Housemarque getting those second round sales on PC is a nice way to justify the purchase financially/the bank for their next project.Īnd they're at the point with Bloodborne where a remaster is needed but a remake would be too soon, even for Sony. Demon's Souls is old enough for a full remake, which took up a bunch of their top remaster studio's time. Most of Sony's PS4 > PC ports and remasters sold substantially better than Bloodborne and Sony has direct control of the original studios to provide technical support on the port. Like, end of.Ĭlick to shrink. It takes resources and Sony has those resources marked for a bunch of other projects. And they are not barriers so they aren't worth considering in the specific discussion he's trying to have. Like, these weren't mentioned because they are not relevant. We accept that a couple miscellaneous things will pop up. They are required for literally anything to ever happen ever, so they are not worth bringing up. These are not intelligent things to point out. Responding with like "ohhh but, but QA! and.some other things probably!" like dude who cares. This is an obnoxious thing to get hung up over. An entire port, which is obviously more than two lines of code, would also be, as he says, extremely straight forward and easy to do. The core thing that needs to be changed is stupendously easy and is not a barrier to this happening. It's a weird, pedantic thing to get mad at when what he's getting across is obvious. Addressing some of the small oddities is maybe a few more. Unlocking the framerate is two lines of code. His point is, as he said, there are no technical barriers. I mean, okay obviously? You're taking this way too literally.
